Fergana Eco City is a rotational workers' camp under construction by TAN GROUP in Fergana region, Uzbekistan. The project comprises 17 buildings with a total built-up area of approximately 5,300 m². The camp includes 12 dormitories, 3 office buildings, a canteen, and a guest house. As of November 2026, overall assembly progress stands at 84%.
Rotational camp in Fergana: project scope
The camp includes several building types. Eleven dormitories measure 10×30 m, and one measures 10×25 m. Two office buildings follow the first standard design (10×30 m), while one follows a second design. The canteen, at 15×50 m, is the largest structure in the complex. The guest house is planned at 10×10 m.
LSTK steel frame and sandwich panel technology
All buildings are erected on concrete slab foundations. The load-bearing frames are made of LSTK — light-gauge steel thin-walled structures. This technology enables rapid assembly, which is essential for projects involving numerous buildings of similar type. External cladding consists of sandwich panels. Both the steel structures and sandwich panels are manufactured at TAN GROUP's own factory in Samarkand.
Construction progress as of November 2026
The project is in its active phase. As of November 2026, the status is as follows:
- 12 buildings are fully complete — frame and sandwich panel installation finished.
- 2 buildings (No. 10, No. 14) are nearing completion — frames done, sandwich panel cladding at 95%.
- 1 building (No. 15) is in progress — LSTK frame at 50%.
- 2 buildings (No. 16 dormitory, No. 17 guest house) are queued for construction.
Out of 17 buildings, 12 are fully ready, with work continuing on the remaining 5.
Benefits of LSTK construction for worker camps
LSTK technology is well suited for rotational camp construction. TAN GROUP's completed projects include a workers' camp for Aurum Group. Frame components are prefabricated at the factory and assembled quickly on site, significantly reducing construction timelines compared to conventional brick or reinforced concrete methods. Sandwich panels serve as both the building envelope and thermal insulation in a single layer.
